Stranger Things | Netflix Series

netflix stranger things

“Stranger Things” have some of the most bizarre twists. I’ve viewed multiple trailers & my partner & I are already hooked on watching it.

It starts out when a kid goes missing. I should mention, it takes place in a time pre-computers, texting, and I would guess cells phones. More in the time of “E.T.” and when bikes with high handle bars were all the rage. Now, I did say a kid went missing, but also a kid was found. Not one anyone knows but a young girl about the same age as the missing young boy. She is one unusual girl. If you see, what I assume are government owned, trucks flying over kids heads while on a collision course with them. I do believe she does it. Not sure if she’s a UFO alien or government controlled alien or possibly human baby born with abilities & exploited by, who else, the governemnt.

You know how the government likes to protect its citizens using secrets to prevent us from knowing the Truth. A GREAT many things we deserve to know about are kept from us. I think this is one of those times.

There also is this creepy growing thing. Not sure if it’s an intelligent life force. Dr. Who would figure it out but he ain’t coming.

So are you up for some weirdness and scary, messy stuff?

I am curious. My brain lit up the first time I saw the first trailer. My partner kept mentioning Stranger Things to me & I finally saw it being exhibited on Netflix with just a trailer to tantalizes your temptation to walk blindly toward danger. “Danger Will Robinson!”

If you don’t have NETFLIX, I highly recommend for many reasons, one of which is there are NO ADS.  Lovely! I am a binge watcher and NETFLIX gives you all episodes at once.  In the case of STRANGER THINGS, I certainly hope they don’t change their precedent. It states on Poster ALL EPISODES July 15th.

“STRANGER THINGS” IS NOT FOR THE CURIOUSLY IMPAIRED,” echoed the ginger cat with the white bib and blaze starting at the center of his eyes and running almost to the end of his nose. Now he is prodigiously curious. Patrolling for the unusual, while seeing beyond our reality. He is known as Carter with an alias not able to be mentioned here, at this time.

Do take a look. You’ll know right away if it is meant for your viewing pleasure. I know my partner & I will be there. For me after some heavy duty vapes. I know I want to be prepared.

A strange town where everyone knows everyone Is subject to a peculiar incident. The town then undergoes a state of panic, before the government becomes involved. Also, there’s a clueless but charming sheriff, who is simply trying to get the town back into control while a smarter character figures out the mystery. [IMdB]

Stars: Winona Ryder
A bit of important Trivia, not really trivial, regarding the star:

Winona Ryder portrays a mother whose child has gone missing. [in ‘Stranger Things‘]. In real life, Ryder dedicated the film Little Women (1994) to Polly Klaas, a young girl from her hometown of Petaluma, California, who went missing and was later revealed to have been kidnapped and brutally murdered. She offered a $200,000 reward for anyone with information on the subject, and of 2016 she still remains a strong supporter of the Polly Klaas Foundation for Prevention of child abduction, and aid in the search. Crimson Peak

“In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.

Now the description above is intriguing and at the same time, it scares the shit out of me. I’ve seen the ads and this may be more fear than I may be willing to handle, at least alone, that is. If my partner is willing to watch with me, I may cover my eyes during the freakier moments or not. I’ve seen some pretty scary films. Most recent was with Daniel Radcliffe in “Lady In Black.” And I watched “The Grudge” and Freddie Krueger, plus the “Scream” trilogy. Somehow, “Crimson Peak” looks scarier than all of them put together. And, frankly, that scares me half to Death. Booooooo!

The X-Files | The Truth Is Out There

There back. – “The Truth Is Out There” – THE X-FILES -January 24th 2016 FOX

This is the shortest tease of The X-Files but well worth the thrill of just hearing a few bars of the Theme Song. See Scully. See Mulder. See nefarious people. Secret places. Men, maybe women too, with Guns. Needs no further introduction for us “I Want To Believe” aficionados. Let’s take a look. Do not Blink or you may just miss it. I would suggest a few repeats. Yeah!

WAY COOL! ps. And who says it’s alright to trample our Poster.
