Mystery #14 Tao Te Ching

Looked at but cannot be seen – it is beneath form;
Listened to but cannot be heard – it is beneath sound;
Held but cannot be touched – it is beneath feeling;
These depthless things evade definition,
And blend into a single mystery.

In its rising there is no light,
In its falling there is no darkness,
A continuous thread beyond description,
Lining what can not occur;
Its formless,
Its image nothing,
Its name is silence;
Follow it, it has no back,
Meet it, it has no face.

Attend the present to deal with the past;
Thus you grasp the continuity of the Way,
Which is its essence

– Lao Tzu

Marcel Proust could not beat out Lao Tzu’s ‘Mystery #14’ but Mr. Proust will return next   Sunday following April Fool’s Day.

Maybe truth doesn’t exist
And control is an illusion
Lies – reality in disguise
Fantasy – view inside our minds
Where real reveals its identity
On how the Wheel revolves
Inside the Universal expanse

Maybe truth doesn’t exist
Minds unable to recognize clarity
From living inside the insanity
We are prisoners of our own transgressions
Words overflowing have lost meaning
Telling stories repetitiously
Correcting reality by changing it
Altering outcomes while evolving
