Poetry that frees the soul

Poetry that frees the soul | Cristina Domenech
TED Talk | 16th January 2015

“It’s said that to be a poet, you have to go to hell and back.” Cristina Domenech teaches writing at an Argentinian prison, and she tells the moving story of helping incarcerated people express themselves, understand themselves – and glory in the freedom of language. Watch for a powerful reading from one of her students, an inmate, in front of an audience of 10,000. In Spanish with subtitles.”

It is a brilliant and sensitive story of finding your freedom through the use of words and language. It is remarkably impressive and thought-provoking. I highly recommend taking the time to listen to Cristina Domenech speak. You will learn if you are already a poet or just interested in understanding how to be free through the writing of poetry. – jk

Laughing makes one feel good. Feeling good is good for you to be in a Positive State of Mind. Focus more on the Positive. “We Have Talents.” Positive Psychology.

I know when I get Positive feedback it is encouraging to continue in the pursuit that has been supported. Positive excel more than the when you focus on the Negative.

Find your path of life. Life, Talents & Happiness. Focus on the work well done in our lives. It works. I do believe it helps.
