    • Love the feeling your poem creates. My cravings for a baby dog . NOT A PUPPY . are strong. The force is with me. A carriage to walk her in . my present fantasy . snuggling up close on my place of being . my bed . desk . place of creativity & sleep & entertainment. My Amazon parrot Saki is my buddy. I snuggle with her like she is a DOG. She guards over me when I am not so well . sitting vigil. she barks like a dog (our terrier Chaucer taught her that while she was still alive . but alas she is gone now & was our last DOG) . I miss a dog’s wanting to be with you . cats I adore but the relationship is maddeningly on the cat’s terms. It can drive one INSANE. 😺🎶🏳‍🌈⚡❣☔ 🌎😂🌍🐶🐾🐩👣

    • Saki our Amazon Parrot does fly & is completely satisfied to stay in the living room. My right shoulder is her means to travel anywhere else on the first floor. Not her fav thing to do . leaving the living room to travel into other rooms . she loves sitting on my shoulder . prefers the right always . right hand also. She is out all day once I get up and goes to bed when Shawn does. She is my best bud & a good listener. I stroke the top of her feathers and as well. It’s not an area that get much attention. She loves it when I turn her upside down . hold her in my arms and gently scratch & stroke her feathers . She loves it. Sometimes she will flip herself into my hands. We share a great deal of trust. When we received her she was 8 yrs old and not handled much at all. It took a long time to build a trust enough to slightly touch her beak. As you tell by what I’ve written the trust between us has grown exponentially. I love her and I need to stay alive into my 100s to be here for her. She’s 30 and that’s less than half her life . the Goddesses & spirits protect Saki & all of us. No one else could take care of her. She & I are Soul Mates . You know what I mean. 👋⚡❣
