“San Andreas”

Since I can remember there has always been talk
of California falling into the sea & California Earthquakes.

Is this movie an extreme pre-enactment
of the future for the San Andreas Fault?

I want to see “San Andreas”
b/c I am feeling the vibration
this may be the Disaster Film
to Beat Out All Disaster Films.

    • Not everyone’s taste. I’m not sure what fascinates me about them. Haven’t seen one in years. It is the curiosity of the car crash on an extremely higher level of destruction. Watching a Volcano explode is visceral. I don’t want anyone harmed but it is the all out rage of nature screaming at what is being done to her. It is her response. JAT

        • No, the film industry just wants to rake in all their profits. Be damned if there is no story, just special effects and great CGI. It has been said that the filmmakers actually got some of the destructive parts of the film right. Purely by accident or intentionally, no one is sure.

Best most recent disaster film, which I love, is “Dante’s Peak.” A volcano eruption film of great proportions. I’ve watched many times and never find it boring at all. Recommend for the disaster film buff. It also has a good love story attached.
