QUOTATIONS on ARTISTS:

“Creative writing is your ability to develop your inner tension, your libido, your supply of energy and electric charge, turning the charge into an image or thought, and writing down the thought, thus contributing all the activity of your mind to the immortal culture of humankind and subsequently to your own immortality.” ― Lara Biyuts

“She preferred the quiet solitary atmosphere, to create in her own world of paint and colour, the thrill of anticipating how her works would turn out as she eyed the blank sheets of paper or canvas before starting her next masterpiece. How satisfying it was to mess around in paint gear, without having to worry about spills, starch or frills, that was the life!” ― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

“A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.” ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

“The monster I kill every day is the monster of realism. The monster who attacks me every day is destruction. Out of the duel comes the transformation. I turn destruction into creation over and over again.” ― Anaïs Nin, Henry and June: From “A Journal of Love”–The Unexpurgated Diary of Anaïs Nin

“Everything in creation has its appointed painter or poet and remains in bondage like the princess in the fairy tale ’til its appropriate liberator comes to set it free.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

“A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.” ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

    • I discovered Antoine de Saint- Exupery when I was in college & into flying, literally speaking, but in small planes as a pilot. His writings and life fascinated me. His philosophy has always been profound to me. His depth of adventure & fantasy. We are all creators. We just have to be open to and willing to pull it from inside of ourselves. I can not create or my life would be over. TY Darlene. It is important to believe and do. jk 🙂
