    • It’s meant to be a way of shining light on sacrifice and making it count by leading a life that gives it’s recognition. I always felt in debt b/c I didn’t die and there must be a reason. Part of me believes that one owes someone who saves their life by doing something beyond the regular in achievement to satisfy their loss and your own survival. The adage: “You survived b/c you were meant to accomplish something significant.” That is what this poem is about and it is also an acknowledgement of having been rescued. It’s a feeling of obligation to honour the one who did not survive b/c they saved you. The cause and those behind all this live in a darkness and probably share in a miserable existence. It is something that they created for themselves if it is so. The ending of the poem shows the positive intentions, Do you see this or am I deluded?
